You and your partner will learn how to modify your favorite yoga postures for reducing pain during labor as well as skills to better attune to your own body's needs. You will also learn breath and meditation techniqyes to reduce discomfort and anxiety throughout birth. Your partner will learn how they can best support you in postures and how to provide targeted massage and other forms of support. The course will also include a review of the stages of labor and how you can utilize yoga and comfort measure techniques throughout. You will be given notes so that you can continue to practice these easy to remember and simple but effective techniques on your own. This class is a great way to prepare for whatever kind of birth you are hoping for as well as to reduce stress throughout the prenatal period.

Please Note: This class is a mixture of physical practice, breathwork and brief birth education. It is not intended to replace prenatal education courses.
