At a cozy private studio at 62 Avenue de Tervuren on Mondays and at Wheel of Care at Rue Terre-Neuve 194, 1000 Bruxelles on Thursdays.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, something comfortable to move in and some water, and you can bring baby if you're joining the postnatal class! Mats and props are provided.

Do I need to have yoga experience?

Not at all. These classes are designed for all levels and all bodies, with lots of support and options throughout.

Can I feed or change my baby during postnatal yoga?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This is a baby-friendly space: feeding (however you like), changing, and soothing your little one are all completely welcome.

What if my baby is very fussy?

Please join us anyway! Postnatal yoga is one of the best first places to bring your baby, especially if you are nervous about taking them out. You are in a room surrounded by people who know that babies cry, so you won't get any bad looks or shame, just compassion. Emily is always happy to hold your baby while you practice, if it is okay with you.

What if I'm exhausted? Will I still benefit?

100%! Growing and raising a baby is exhausting, and it isn't uncommon for students to share that they are tired. Students are always free to take a nap in class, since it is your hour to use as you like, and classes always include Savasana and, when everyone is sleepy, longer guided relaxations.

Can yoga really help during labor and birth?
